To Die By Your Side

Give me a sign and I’d come running

November 30th, 2010

I woke up this morning to two seperate emails telling me that PJ Harvey‘s new album would be streaming on her website today. So I thought I’d do a quick update to tell you about it. However, unless I’m being particularly dim witted, I can’t find it anywhere on the site at the moment, so I therefore can’t make any comment on it.  However as one of the emails came from someone at Vagrant Records, I’m pretty sure it’ll be up be up at some point today, so it’ll be worth checking back regularly.

In the meantime, while we wait for some new songs from Polly, here are a couple of old songs from her. Both recorded live in session and both sounding damn good. Oh and if you hadn’t heard anything about the new record, it’s called ‘Let England Shake’ and will be released on February 14th/15th (depending on which side of the pond you’re on). Find out more here.

PJ Harvey – c’mon billy (live session version) : original version available on ‘To Bring You My Love’

PJ Harvey – the letter (live acoustic session version) : original version available on ‘Uh Huh Her’
