I’m sick of all the stiffs

I’m not bored, I’m just in need of something raucous this morning to wake me up. And if I’m not mistaken, this Iggy Pop cover by The White Stripes fits neatly into that category. It’s rough, it’s raw, it’s all jagged around the edges and, clocking in at just 1 minute and 25 seconds, it certainly doesn’t outstay it’s welcome. Much like this post.

Saw some of the documentary The White Stripes Under Great White Northern Lights last night. They are raw and jagged in all the right places. This is a fantastic cover.
