To Die By Your Side

I Know I Can Count On You

May 24th, 2010

I know it’s only been a week or so since my last post about Florence & The Machine but this is too good not to share. Over the weekend, Florence was joined by the Bognor University Choir for her first festival headline slot at BBC Radio 1‘s Big Weekend. As if a string section and 30 strong choir wasn’t quite enough, Dizzee Rascal also joined her for a repeat of their Brit Awards performance of ‘You’ve Got The Love’.

The whole thing is frankly electrifying and sounds like an amazing way to end a festival. I’ve taken the liberty of editing  the audio a little bit because Dizzee fluffed his lines and they had to re-start it halfway through.  However if you want to see the whole thing un-cut, you can watch a 10 song set of highlights over at the Radio 1 site here.
